The Life Sciences Instrumentation and Software (LIS) network was established in May 2005 as a cluster of 15 indigenous Irish-based firms offering a holistic source of instrumentation and software to the Lifesciences (biotechnology, medical device and Pharmaceutical) industries. Measuresoft joined the network in August 2006.

The mission of the Life Sciences Instrumentation and Software (LIS) network is to deliver a comprehensive source of instrumentation and software solutions to the global life sciences industry.

The member companies work together as a team, in the development of new business opportunities and where it makes sense, to adopt a collaborative approach to R&D, Marketing, Management Development Practices and International Sales.
